Chapter Three:- What Now Sherlock?

so as we made our way back to the base camp i visited a local store, i wanted to go and get something to remember my time here, heh i thought i'd never find anything like this any more. Better hide it from Corneal if he finds out that i have been spending some of the gold coins he'd have my head, and so as we both settled down in the house, we had a mini meeting, talking about what will happen next, where are we going to go. "So Corneal, what's gonna happen next? where are we needed?, Corneal just stared into mid air and said, "the only place i believe where the theft could be is...*i interrupted i thought this was a great idea* Corneal! he must be in Canada! "Ace don't be daft, judging by the cheerio artefact, he must be in north Egypt. *When i heard that all i could do is stand and gasp, "how on earth did you get Egypt from something like this? i cried, Corneal smiled and laughed, how in god's name does this artefact look like a Cheerio? but still you are very close, now come on we better be going to the airport. CORNEAL! wait, there is still one more thing i must do before i go.... 

  ISN'T THIS INCREDIBLE? LOOKS LIKE SOME SORT OF A RECORD! ♫EVERYONE LOVES A SLINKY!! YOU GOTTA GET A SLINKY!! SLINKY SLINKY!! GO SLINKY GO!♪ NO!! God! it was right there!! *Please Ace i don't mean to ruin your fun but we must get to the plane now, it leaves within a hour. "sigh, oh no how selfish of me, lets go and do the things that you want to do....


a few hours on the plane we made our way to Egypt, and my goodness there was more sand here then the seaside at mablethorpe, i just want to get down there and make some epic sand castles! 


Moments later we where at our base camp and Corneal wasn't looking too good, i asked if he was alright, he turned to me and said he was sweating like a roast chicken in an oven. He went to get changed and put some fresh and light clothes on.


So Ace what do you think of my new outfit? "again like before i held in my laugh and said the nicest thing possible, but judging to Corneal expression i don't think he wasn't too pleased, i hope it just goes over his head i can't deal with a miserable old man for the rest of the trip.

right then Foxtura off to our first location, we shall be going to one of the smallest pyramids here, Ah good idea, i am getting a strong feeling from it, but i hope it explains my question, and get this scum in jail!  


and so we have arrived to the pyramid, and i must admit it is tiny compared to the other two standing before it, i am just thinking to myself, how in earth are we going to get into it?

Chapter Two There Is Nothing In This Box!

holy sock puppet in a sausage factory Corneal, I was wondering what that hissing sounds was, I wasn't too sure if it was  gonna be a creeper or some sort of random spider falling on our heads, urgh!  Corneal replied Ace seriously I think you have been playing minecraft way too much, there is nothing In the real world that can do that sort of things well maybe snakes but they don't explode, well...not from what I know of that is. Well if you say so Corneal, then I muttered under my breath, I still think they are around here I know it, I shall find one, and tame it! yes my master plan is coming together! hmm, these blocks don't get any lighter. *sigh* now come on Ace put your back into it you need the workout for sure. Again I ignored Corneal's cheeky remarks, one more push and...then Corneal looked at me like I was some sort of alien from another planet he sniffed and said, Ace, did you just fart? dear god man we are in a enclosed space!

heh, sorry must have been the kraft dinna I had earlier, damn it was some good cheese. then as I turned to view the rest of the room a pile of rock and rubble was in the corner of the room, I felt my heart in my throat, I knew what I must do so I took a deep breath and shouted, HEY CORNEAL! LOOK STONE! WHERE'S MY PIX AXE! I was born to do this baby! then as I lifted my axe I felt the power, and
all the skills I have learned from the many hours of playing minecraft

So Corneal, do you think Minecraft is pointless now? I have no idea what you would do without me, he looked at me and folded his arms, *sigh* very well done Ace, I assume you know how to push things? so then this little pressure pad should open this door, I looked around again, erm, I thought the door was gonna open but I think you broke the brick wall, and holy pork chops it’s a creeper!!! nahhh!!, then I hid behind Corneal so the creeper wouldn't attack me, but I was wrong. *Chill out Ace you little nutter, I think it is another area, I am so  intrigued! we must enter, and seriously the statues are not creepers, right you pull this one while I'll push this, I feel there is something behind these. Finally I said after taking a deep breath, they where freaking heavier then the last one, and what the? a magical mystery box oh I wonder what secrets are hidden in here, and..erm Corneal there isn’t much in here apart from this grey ball thing, it could be another
clue, sir we are one step closer to finding the cheerios!

brilliant Ace! great news, and I think I have found some food for us to eat, I have no idea what it is but, it is food I know for sure, well looking at the crap that you eat I am thinking that this is the best for you. I walked out of the room with a grin on my face and saying yep sure Corneal you keep saying that, I caught my eye on something else, and as I put my hand in to the dark hole I was thinking to myself, damn I hope no freaking spiders come and eat my hand off, this is my doing hand, I can not be Ace Foxtura with just one hand it's insane. *Moments later I was just rumbling around in the hole trying to find something but all I found was a switch and hey presto! the door lock broke, I would like to thank my amazing brain power again  for that, I shouted Corneal just to say I opened the door, I really do wonder what he has been doing in that room all on his own, it's like the time when I found that mysterious email on the computer oh the dirty buggar! 

I'm coming Ace I am coming and wow, it looks like some sort of pool, I wonder what's at the bottom of it. Then I push Corneal out of the way and said, stand aside fool, let Foxtura sort this out, and besides, I feel a bit stinky. *I took a step on top of the pool and looked down at it, I took a deep breath and jumped for dear life

as I was getting deeper down in the pool, it seemed to get darker and darker, I felt a bit freaked out when I started to see a few odd colours, hmm I think Corneal is right about the food I eat, damn kraft dinna and curly fries are damn good, I was hoping that I would reach the surface soon as I was needing to breath, but this damn tunnel was so long is was crazy, wait hang on, then at that split second I popped out of the water, *I then took a large and heavy deep breath, THANK BLOODY GOD! and where the heck am I?
as I crawled out of the pool I saw another chest, being a curious little fox I wanted to have a look inside, and wow it is such a creaky
box and *GASP*

meanwhile back on the other side Corneal was feeling a bit hungry, *hmm, I wonder what the hell is taking Ace so long, I wonder if he is dead  *moments later bubbles appeared from the pool again, *huge gasp* bloody hell, I will never get used to that, *Ace! your alive what took you so long? *sigh, well for a start the tunnel was pretty long and I thought I was gonna die from the lack of air, then I caught my eye on something I think it is another key. *hmm interesting Ace, damn you looked really pooped here have something to eat it will do you good, *the hell? is this the cake type thing you found in that chest?  bloody hell Corneal I thought you were better. But still I can't turn any food down, I wonder what it tastes like

 and so as I had my terrific meal, we headed into the other room, it appears that it was the exit, and the star key was out way out of here, as we left the building me and Corneal sat down as had a meeting, So what have we found as myself and Corneal sat on the ground, I pull out of my pocket the strange round thing, Corneal looked at me and said, Ace I really think you hit the ice on this one, I do believe this is
a brilliant piece of work, I looked at him with a cheerful smile, yes I have to agree, just by my knowledge I think it is a fossilized cheerio, dating back to the early 1400's, Ace, Corneal whispered, I do believe your right, well done but we must crack on the night is closing in.

Chapter One An Introduction to Foxtura

why hello there, my name is Ace Foxtura, i'm a food detective, i spend most of my days cracking cases, returning lost Jaffa Cakes to the innocent, hmm sitting by the pool this morning is quite pleasing

oh and by the way, the guy behind me is my partner in crime, he's the Corneal, Corneal Confetti, he can be a bit of a bossy old coot, but he just wants to get the investigation done and sorted, and before i screw anything up, well lets see what he has to say.

hey Corneal, what's up?

planes, and birds that's what's up Ace, but what's important is that..*sigh* i don't know how i can tell you this Ace but, What Corneal? i cried, i have tackled more challenging tasks, whatever this time could be possibly worse? *sigh* i was going to say it to you gently but, there has been a shortage of Cheerios here in Buttonvile

 you can't be serious, holy cream crackers Corneal, we gotta do something, what info do you have? urgh not much i'm afraid Ace but i have been told that our investigation starts in China, god knows why though

China? but that's hours away

 pull yourself together Ace, do you have any idea how many cheerios are left? i took a deep breath and ask how many, then Corneal shouted and raised his fist, THIS MANY ACE! THIS MANY! now are you gonna wake up and smell the coffee? cause we got to catch the next plane as soon as we can.

and so we catched the 3rd plane to China, 3rd Ace why? well glad you asked i saw a lovely roast chicken at the airport cafe which i simply had to try! god knows where Corneal was, i think he was trying to find me, but anyway we made it safe there.

ah Corneal isn't it wonderful? Japan is such a beautiful country

damn the air is so fine, my mustashe, has tied itself together, fascinating! *a-hem* Ace i have said it once and i  will say it again, we are in China, its two totally different places.

shut your mouth! i am getting something, something fruity, hmm, my nose is telling me to go somewhere, Corneal! i think i know where to find what we are looking for! quick follow me! *sigh* wait Ace, i can't go on dressed like this, it is pretty hot day today, i'll meet you out front

as i was waiting for Corneal to get changed, i saw two friendly pigeons, erm well i think they where getting a bit to friendly i wont go into detail,  honestly i have waited for buses, but Corneal was taking ages, a few minutes later he came from out of the shadows.

now then Corneal took your time didn't you? i was honestly thinking of calling the search team for you i thought i was going to be a solo act, then he turned to me like i just stole £20 from his pocket, he replied

Ace, shut up, what do you think? when he said that i paused, grinned and said, Corneal, you look lovely, i bet the women of the land would be running for you

  he looked at me and smiled. after Corneal's fashion parade we went to our first location, i must admit it looked very interesting

so we made our way in, and by jingle, some sort of king must of lived here, looks like a great place to watch a slinky go down the stairs, Hey Corneal! can i.....

No Ace, no slinky, look we don't have much time here, three days is all we have, now come this door is very heavy. Heavy, you say as i questioned the Corneal and made a run head first into the door,

*kah-bang* and the door opened, heh you see Corneal you said i should use my head more often and so i am, wow thinking really hurts.

as soon as i got my head together i took a look around the mysterious room, i got to admit the first thing that came into mind was that i thought it was the tardis, i mean look at it, it is a lot more bigger on the inside than it is on the outside, its crazy. as i was looking around i caught my eye on something strange, something square i knew i had to go and "investigate" the Corneal wasn't too sure about it

Hazzah! looks like it was a key to a whole new enterence, Corneal look at me, it wasn't a normal well done you idiot, it was more like, i knew you can be a clever buggar sometimes but this time you have done me proud. then he shouted my name, Ace! come on, there stairs need a good walking down on, there must be something down there that could answer our mystery, and so i followed him, but being full of beans i ran down the stairs, but i got easily disappointed cause it was just one room, with a locked door, we didn't have a key or anything, then something came to mind, but just at that second Corneal butted in and said, Ace, i am not calling you stupid or anything but i can not see you opening the door with your mind

  Shush! shut yo mouth, i am thinking, thinking hard, really hard, just after Corneal sighed and said, well.. i can see this is going to take ages, since the shops are still open do you want me to go and get something for dinner or are you just gonna think it? "I didn't pay any attention to him, but i have learned something back on the police force in Buttonville, Bella always seems to let things go over her head, i thought that was a helpful skill, she just chuckled and said it was just her and her blondness and....
*snap*
Corneal Corneal! get your arse back down here look!! i did it! i really did it. and all i heard from him was a huge gasp he kinda looked terrified. and so i ran in laughing and shouting, See you later shit lord! Foxtura Away!!!

ah not so fast Ace, you may be disappointed again. "you got to be kidding me Corneal another locked door, whoever made this is very protective of their stuff, wait hang on what the devil is this?
"ah, well then Ace it looks like you have spotted another clue, hmm we need something heavy, hey you can sit on it i replied with a cheeky look in my eye. oh very funny Ace very funny, look there are some coins over there why not go and play with them while i'll pull this thing across, Coins? as i turned and looked at them a huge grin came on my face, i went to pick them up, and i said to myself, hmm, looks like these are mine *whistles* 

oh Ace, another room, well i think i might leave this one to you, "well ok, if you say so and erm, may i ask why is there a random yellow arrow coming out of it? don't you think that is a little bit odd. an arrow you say Foxtura? i think you may be still suffering from using your head today, i don't think your system is used to it.

right...so next your telling me that this foot button that just appeared is a figment of my imagination.

"not exactly, we are in a strange place anything can happen, now come on i can hear something

 erm Ace, i think we are in a bit of trouble....
